Norma Jean – Belgian Saddlebred Cross Mare – Saved from Slaughter

GREAT NEWS!!! 6/14/2008 - Norman Jean has been adopted.

Norma Jean was purchased from kill buyers in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania last August. She is approximately 15 years old. A bone wreck when she arrived at Another Chance for horses, Norma has filled out nicely. Her blood test came back negative for pregnancy and (just to be sure) palpation was also negative. She is just an easy keeper and a full figured woman! She is a nice quiet girl to ride. Norma is a hubby type of mount. Walk, trot and she can canter!

Easily Echo – Also Saved From Slaughter

More Great News! Echo has found a home as of 6/21/08.

Echo is a registered aged AQHA mare saved from slaughter suitable for children, light riding or companion. She has a slight calcification front leg... very healthy and great attitude- super nice girl gentle babysitter type. Suitable for very light riding lead line child mount or pasture pet.
